Vogue France simply isn’t what it used to be. Currently, under the tutelage of Claire Thomson-Jonville, the magazine continues to produce covers that border on the side of underwhelming. Over recent months, not even covers starring top models Awar Odhiang, Gigi Hadid, and Natalia Vodianova have managed to excite. Now, Thomson-Jonville welcomes Amelia Gray onto the cover of Vogue France, who fronts the November 2026 issue of the magazine. The American model teams up with the photographer Steven Klein for the occasion, with Paul Sinclaire reporting for styling duties. Seated in the plush leather interior of a car, Amelia gazes down Klein’s lens wearing pieces from Sarah Burton’s Givenchy.

“I am so tired of all these nepo babies,” cried out a disapproving swizzi.

“I have never been a fan of Amelia. She is not model material. I do not like this cover at all,” chimed in forum member MModa.

“Very amateur,” Kimy Jo described.

Crmsn commented: “Not even Steven Klein can save the Vogue France team from dread. This is dull and uninspiring.”

“There’s nothing ‘high fashion’ about Amelia Gray at all. She’s Nylon or Paper, at best,” voiced an unimpressed Summer Day.

“Not Amelia’s finest moment. Quintessential Steven Klein, but none of this is working for me and feels more suited to a magazine like V Magazine. I loathe the blonde on Amelia here, and the harsh makeup – everything is just very unflattering,” shared vogue28.
